Practice Round Day at the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship Presented by LA Golf was the final dress rehearsal Thursday for 90 of the top young players on the planet vying for one of junior golf’s most coveted titles. Players took plenty of practice strokes and mental notes in preparation for the DJ World Junior’s eighth edition at a striped-up TPC Myrtle Beach.

Thursday was also occasion for the tournament host, two-time major winner Dustin Johnson, to mix, mingle and get plenty of face time with players, their families and event sponsors. Plus, with a new team component introduced this year to go along with the individual competition, each player got to spend time with their new teammates for the next three days.

Round 1 of the Dustin Johnson World Junior tees off Thursday at 9 a.m. on holes 1 and 10. The public is welcome to attend each round Friday, Saturday and Sunday free of charge, with spectator parking located at Inlet Square Mall in front of Seaside Community Church and complimentary shuttle service between there and TPC Myrtle Beach provided between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
