Lisle, Jia Capture Titles at Dustin Johnson World Junior

FINAL RESULTS

Champions were crowned Sunday at the Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship, as William Lisle and Fay Jia emerged victorious following three days of competition at TPC Myrtle Beach.

The final round was played under another beautiful day along the South Carolina coast, with sunny skies, temperatures in the low 70s and moderate winds providing a fitting backdrop for the championship’s conclusion. Over the course of 54 holes, an elite international field of junior golfers battled one of the most challenging layouts in the region to determine the 2026 champions.

Lisle Holds Off Field to Win Boys Title

In the boys division, William Lisle captured the championship with a 4-under-par total of 212, posting rounds of 71-70-71 to secure a one-shot victory.

Lisle entered the final round holding the 36-hole lead and relied on steady play down the stretch to close out the win. Despite facing adversity during the round, he remained focused on his approach and execution.

“I put together three solid rounds and just focused on hitting each shot at a time and not getting too ahead of the scores,” Lisle said.

Midway through the final round, Lisle found himself battling through a difficult stretch before delivering a key moment that shifted momentum.

“I wasn’t playing well through about 11 or 12 holes. I was three over and it was kind of a do-or-die moment,” he said. “I hit it to two or three feet on the par five and made eagle.”

Lisle followed that with a long putt on the 16th hole to maintain control of the tournament before closing out the victory.

“It made it a lot more nervous on 18 than it should have been, but I made the putt and got the win,” he said.

The victory carried special meaning for the champion.

“Putting my name up there with those guys is insane to me. I’ve always dreamed of winning an event this big,” Lisle said.

Chase Bauer finished second at 3-under-par 213 after posting a final-round 69, the lowest score of the day. Theodore Snyder finished third at 1-under-par 215.

Jia Rallies to Claim Girls Championship

In the girls division, Fay Jia delivered a steady final round to capture the championship at even-par 216, carding rounds of 71-74-71.

Jia entered the final day chasing the lead but maintained her composure throughout the round to secure a four-shot victory.

“I didn’t look at the leaderboard a single time,” Jia said. “I was just focused on my process and my commitment to each shot.”

Her approach helped her stay calm and consistent as the final round unfolded.

“Whenever I felt like I was thinking about what I needed to do next, I told myself I was just on the driving range — aim at the target and commit to it,” she said.

Jia said the win was especially meaningful as she continues her junior golf career.

“It means so much, especially this year,” she said. “Winning this just proves to myself that I can do this.”

Three players tied for second at 4-over-par 220: Eileen Park, Macie Rasmussen, and Michelle Xing.

Championship Test at TPC Myrtle Beach

The championship once again proved to be a demanding test at TPC Myrtle Beach, the Tom Fazio-designed course known for its strategic bunkering, water hazards and challenging greens.

While conditions remained favorable throughout the weekend, steady winds and the course’s demanding layout ensured that players needed both precision and patience to contend.

In the end, Lisle and Jia rose above a talented international field to earn their place among the champions of one of junior golf’s most prestigious events.

With another successful championship complete, the Dustin Johnson World Junior once again showcased the next generation of elite golfers competing on a world-class stage.
